Rehabilitation means surgeries, specialists, and in many cases, intensive socialization, and sometimes months of follow-up procedures. Our providers work with us medically and financially so that we can help as many “cubs” as possible but care is Expensive.

Breeze (Now Ash)
Criminal Child Kitten Class Of 2024
Breeze was brought in with 4 other kittens about 5 weeks old by a barn owner. They were all dehydrated, lethargic, with diarrhea, and very scared. Breeze had a tunneling wound about the size of a quarter that threatened his life if not treated immediately. In the picture above they were being handled outside using the hospital’s infectious protocol due to panleukopenia suspicions.
Breeze was sedated. The wound was flushed and explored; clipped, cleaned, sutured and tested for panleukopenia. After this, came bloodwork, fluids, pain meds, antibiotics, Albon. Ash is now in his forever home with two of his siblings.
Total cost for Breeze: $1841.49

Cats who have suffered trauma due to illness, injury, abuse, or abandonment, deserve veterinary medical care for a chance at a happy and healthy life
